NEMCEA “The Awards” is conceptualized to reward creativity, excellence and innovation in the electronic media content ecosystem in Nigeria and to also reward achievements in prime-time Television, Radio, and Online performances by all stakeholders within the content media industry. It is Nigeria’s leading Content Awards for TV, Radio and Online practitioners.

Over the years, millions of people have been passionately engrossed with one or more programme(s) or been glued to their TV Set or on Radio, this has been indeed a powerful tool to connect the minds and souls of the Nigeria people. More recently, the entrance of the online content has shown us that the world is moving at a rapid pace, hence, the need for us to embrace the online content world and its creators. More than 85% of the awards or reward/recognition platforms for the creative and content Industry in Nigeria and Africa are predominantly for film, music etc, hence, NEMCEA is focused on recognizing players in the TV, Radio and Online space in Nigeria.

More than before, this is the time to celebrate stakeholders and practitioners that have impacted these media space(s) over the years and EMCOAN as one of the stakeholders in the Industry has decided to blaze the trail to start recognizing and rewarding diligence, creativity and innovation in the Industry.
